I commend Jean -Jacques Rousseau in his view that humankind is intrinsically pure and good in a natural state. It is not a reality-based idea in my opinion. History all the way back and the role human nature has played in how the dominance of and over others through establishing who will have the most power and materials have been re-enacted over and over and the results have been the same.
